Check For Obstructions
It's important to check for any tiles or eave trays intuding inside the guttering. Use a sample to check before making a purchase as it will save in any delivery charges for returns.

Tools
Most of the fitting will be tool free. You will need gloves, a tape measure and a hacksaw. When installing off a ladder, make sure the ladder isn’t resting directly on to the guttering as un-clicking the bracket will cause the weight of yourself on the ladder to push the guttering in, making it very difficult to install the guard.

Preparation
Preparation is the key for gutter guard longevity. Cleaning out a gutter before installation with a brush will clear most of the debris but if the gutter has had previous growth, more preparation will be needed such as flushing the gutter clear out with a hose pipe and replacing any necessary leaking/moss growth gutter joints.

Installing
Simply either slide the guard under the bracket and push along or un-click the bracket, place inside and re-click the bracket back into place. Each guard is 1000mm in length and will need a bracket to hold into place, the average house bracket distance is 600mm, the guards just butt up to each other will no joins. needed

Corners
With corner bends, the square guttering will butt up to each other without any cutting (as seen in picture). For round guttering, a little cut will be needed to follow the curvature of the outside corner, this is then butt up like the square.
Other bends such as 135 degrees will need to be mitred up.

Maintenance
Most of the time the guard should be maintenance free, as the wind should blow most of the debris off. In more frequent debris build up places, you may have to sweep of debris build up from time to time off the top of the guard. No gutter guard is 100% maintance free, but our guard will be the best on the market to maintain.
